Teaming Up for Growth: V-Mobile Summer Strategy Retreat

Regular office discussions do not always lead to the best fresh ideas. And sometimes, a change of setting and fresh air can work magic. Team alignment and internal communication are essential to keeping everyone motivated and focused on shared goals and a common vision. That’s why each year we organize several team gatherings—both in and out of the office—to celebrate our achievements, reflect on strategic directions, and stay in tune with market trends that support the growth and improvement of our services.


One such gathering took place over a summer weekend, when we brought together our team and various divisions for a full-day retreat in Garni. The day began with an early meetup at the office, followed by a bus ride out of the city to our retreat location. Once there, we kicked off a full agenda that included strategy discussions, team activities, and time to unwind.

Throughout the day, we reviewed the 2024–2025 strategy, explored potential new partnerships and projects, and discussed key updates and priorities in HR and project management for the rest of the year. Our sessions were divided into three parts: the first focused on company-wide goals and our long-term vision, the second explored new collaborations and opportunities, and the third addressed important internal updates, including people-first initiatives and team structure improvements. 


As a software outsourcing company operating in the fast-paced and constantly evolving field of mobile app development, we emphasized the importance of staying up to date with AI advancements particularly in mobile, and the need to invest more in new AI and ML solutions. We also reflected on the value of partnerships and our commitment to maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with our clients—as reflected through the projects in our portfolio. In outsourcing, building trust, fostering long-lasting relationships, and ensuring transparency are keys to success. An important part of our conversation focused on adopting a client-centric mindset and having the right project management tools and metrics in place to guarantee alignment and visibility throughout the project lifecycle.

At V-Mobile, we believe that building strong connections goes beyond the office walls. While collaboration during work hours is crucial, spending quality time together outside the office—especially during the hot summer months—plays an equally important role in team development and morale. Our outing to Garni offered a refreshing break from daily routines, sparking fresh ideas, creating space for fun and relaxation, and strengthening our sense of unity.


After the formal sessions, the afternoon continued with casual table games, followed by dinner and music, giving us a chance to enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting. Simple moments like sharing a laugh over a board game or dancing together after dinner reminded us that behind every great project is a team that enjoys working and growing together.


These gatherings leave us not only refreshed but also aligned and inspired. As we return to work, we do so more connected than ever, ready to carry forward the ideas and energy sparked during our summer strategy retreat. We’re looking forward to turning all the ideas and plans we discussed into action and to wrapping up 2025 with even more achievements, stronger alignment, and renewed motivation.
